Carnarvon - where the outback meets the coast

Today, Ella, Lara and I were able to attend  lessons at the Carnarvon, School Of The Air. We sat in on 3 music lessons. The lessons included 15 minutes theory and 15 minutes music practise. All students played either keyboard or recorder. They communicate with their teacher and other class members via computer. Although they can not see each other, they can listen to each other. Students can even raise their hand using an icon.

' Canarfin '

' Canarfin ' is the name of the annual fishing competition held in Canarvon this week. Each night, between 5 & 6 p.m. there is a weigh - in  at the Gascoyne Hotel. This picture shows one happy fisherman.
